What is File Frame?
File Frame is a file hanging system that replaces older, outdated or simple bar / rack hardware in drawers, with a custom, more user-friendly design, allowing files to slide smoothly over the rails. With File Frame, rails remain in place when removing files, unlike when using drop-in hardware. Easy to adjust between letter and legal files, and front-to-back or side-to-side filing configurations – rails snap in and out of position without tools.

Custom File Frame Systems are designed specifically to your individual drawer box sizes. Fitted File Frame systems reduce labor, optimize filing capability, reduce scrap, and enhance the look and function of your file drawers. File Frame Systems can be produced to fit any file drawer size or shape.
File Frame Kits
CompX Timberline File Frame kits provide an easy-to-install filing system which will accommodate any drawer size.
File Frame kits are versatile – easily installs on wood or metal drawer boxes.There are two kits available: letter and legal. Each kit is supplied with the components for ‘front to back’ and ‘side to side’ filing. Kits are designed for drawer boxes up to 26″ deep and can be installed on both 3 & 4 sided drawer boxes. For installation on lateral file drawers, combine two kits.
